I’m voting no because expanding incarceration in our county will harm our community.

I want to make investments that align with the vision of our county- one where care works harder than carelessness. The people engaging with this campaign ask better questions that lead myself and others to think deeper about preventing arrests rather than reacting to them.

Diversion is not done until every person has a home, a place to receive healthcare, and a good school. We have a long way to go, and a bigger jail does not help us get there.
